ArtNweavess was founded in 2015 by Bhargavi Pappuri with a mission to promote Indian handicrafts and handmade products. Initially, the platform showcased over 1,000 artifacts from various regions across the country. However, the team soon realized the challenges of catering to individual orders, as most artisans preferred bulk orders. To overcome this, Bhargavi decided to create her own product range of handmade soaps and herbal shampoos.
In 2015, Bhargavi trained and became certified at Khadi College, focusing on creating high-quality products. Following her training, ArtNweaves procured a license from the Department of Ayush and launched its product range in the premium segment. This range includes transparent and non-transparent glycerin soaps, cow ghee herbal soaps, medicated soaps, herbal shampoos, shower gels, and face washes etc. Bhargavi personally crafted each product from scratch, ensuring safety and quality at every step, with a dedication to achieving customer satisfaction.
ArtNweavess relies on word-of-mouth promotion rather than traditional marketing. Most of our customers are individuals, B2B, B2C, and MSMEs, who have used our products or have been referred by friends, family, or business associates. They often approach us to promote products under the ArtNweavess brand or in white-labeling formats. Today, ArtNweavess also creates products for third parties looking for quality handmade soaps and herbal shampoos, offering third-party manufacturing or white-labeling services to clients in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Lonavala, Mumbai, and other locations. Soon artNweavess brand would be available in the USA.
Bhargavi is supported by her spouse, Sriram Pappuri, who left his corporate job at a TATA Group company to help build the brand. Together, they are first-generation entrepreneurs. ArtNweavess products are available in premium supermarkets and stores, organic shops, and e-commerce platforms like Bigbasket, Amazon, MINTORIE, IndicBrands, and IndiMandi. The company owes its success to the late Shri Shashi Kumar, who trained Bhargavi in creating high-quality, premium products with a personal touch and dedication.
Now the organization owns three registered trademarks – artNweaves, ANW & artNweavess approved by Government of India in multiple product categories of Skincare & Hair care segments. Any Individual, Organization etc would be liable to face legal action if the above-mentioned trademarks are infringed upon. Jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana State, India.
ArtNweavess now donates a part of its income to create a fund to support Cancer patients through its NGO – Artnweaves Artisan Empowerment Society a registered organization as per the societies act.
